Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md Abu Zafar Ripon along with officials of Rice Management, Production, Supply Committee visited Tilade Rice Mills in Munshiganj on Saturday. He talked to the owners of mills on paddy collection, sale of rice and other related matters.
The DC said that rice production and supply will be maintained through proper management. The price hike should not allow. Rice will not be preserved after its collection from farmers. The monitoring has been tightened from District Administration and they will take action if there is any irregularity.
The DC also informed that they are determined to take agtion aginst illegal sand lifters. As part of this he has visited Bhasan Char, Maddha Char, Ramzanbeg, Sholoaney, Blau Mahal and others parts of Munshganj.
