Ministry of Industries and Ministry of Housing and Public Works, Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan laid the foundation stone of the CDA Outer Ring Road Jame Mosque and inspected the Karnaphuli Tunnel Intersection.
On Friday, the foundation stone of the CDA Outer Ring Road Jame Mosque adjacent to feeder road 1 of the Chattogramg City Outer Road in the South Halishahar area of Chattogramg city was laid by the Ministry of Industries and the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Adilur Rahman Khan.
This beautiful mosque, spread over an area of approximately 43 kathas of land, can accommodate approximately 1,000 worshippers on each floor. In addition, there is a funeral place for 1,000 worshippers in the courtyard adjacent to the mosque on the ground floor. The ground floor of the mosque has spacious toilets and ablution facilities for men and the second floor has ablution facilities and prayer facilities for women. The original design of the mosque also includes a spectacular minaret of approximately 80 feet in height. The Chattogramg Development Authority is constructing this mosque complex keeping in mind the needs of tourists visiting the Patenga area.
The foundation stone laying ceremony was presided over by Chattogramg Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Engineer Nurul Karim. Chattogramg City Corporation (CCC) Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain, Chattogramg Press Club Member Secretary, CDA Board Member and Dainjm Amar Desh Resident Editor Zahidul Islam Kochi, CDA Board Member Manjare Khorshed, Engineers Sakhawat Hossain, Nazrul Islam and CDA Chief Engineer Hasan Bin Shams, Supervising Engineers and project-related engineers, high-ranking administration officials, and media personnel.
Adviser Adilur said at the foundation stone laying ceremony, Today, on this day, we form the government. And on the same day, another good work has begun by laying the foundation of the mosque.
Later, he visited the Karnaphuli Tunnel Intersection area being implemented by CDA. He discussed the progress and challenges of the project with the project officials and officials of Chattogramg Development Authority (CDA).
The Adviser expressed satisfaction with the progress of the project work. During the visit, he instructed all those involved in the project to complete the work within the stipulated time.
