Actor Waliul Haq Rumi passes away

The entertainment industry mourns the loss of renowned television actor Waliul Haq Rumi, who succumbed to cancer after a courageous fight. Rumi, recognized for his amiable nature, had been receiving treatment for colon cancer at a private hospital in Dhaka. His untimely departure has left a profound void in the hearts of his colleagues and fans alike.

Esteemed actors such as Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Shahnaz Khushi took to social media to express their heartfelt condolences and pay tribute to Rumi's remarkable talent and warm personality. Actress Shahnaz Khushi, visibly emotional, reminisced about Rumi, describing him as a dear friend rather than just a co-worker.

Originally from Barisal, Rumi will be laid to rest beside his mother, leaving behind his grieving wife, son, and daughter. The news of his passing has sent shockwaves through the entertainment fraternity, as colleagues and admirers struggle to come to terms with the loss of a beloved figure.
