Moheshpur thana police in Jhenaidah have arrested a killer son when he was leaving for neighboring India being accused in killing his father Abdul Mannan of village Sezia. The arrested was Mafizul Islam, 40, of the village.
Moheshpur police station officer in charge Selim Mia said, Abdul Mannan was beaten to death by his son Mafizul Islam on Thursday noon when he was trying to stop a clash between his two sons Mafizul and Sadequl. Abdul Mannan upon receiving the hit of a bamboo stick on his head, died on the spot.
Since the killing incident Mafizul went hiding and attempting to trespass in to neighboring India. But the police men had arrested him from the bordering area at Shyamkur.
