‘Abducted’ schoolgirl rescued in Rajshahi

 A team of police in a drive rescued a schoolgirl, who was abducted from Gazipur allegedly by miscreants on Wednesday morning, was rescued from Rajshahi on Wednesday night.

Confirming the matter, Shahadat Hossain, officer in charge of Motihar police station in Rajshahi metropolitan police said that the rescued girl is Mita Aktar Barsha, 14, a seventh grader student, was kept now in a victims’ support centre. She would be handed over to her family members as soon as possible.

Police rescued her from Talaimari area in Rajshahi.

Noted, some miscreants abducted and picked up Mita and her two fellows in a microbus on Wednesday morning while they were going to school. The two fellows of her are-- Meghla and Juthi, who were now remained at their own home.
