8 fined for arranging wedding ceremony

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-4) conducted a mobile court drive and fined eight people for arranging wedding ceremon, denying strict direction of government amid coronavirus spread. The mobile court fined the people at Aminbazar area in Savar, on the outskirts of the capital, on Friday. 

The wedding ceremony was organized in presence of two union parishad chairman of Savar. The executive magistrate of RAB-4 warned and released them. The chairmen are Saiful Islam, Chairman of Bonogram Union Parishad of Savar, and Anowar Hossain, Chairman of Aminbazar Union Parishad of Savar.

Anisur Rahman, Executive Magistrate of RAB-4, led the mobile court drive with cooperation of RAB members and officials. Executive magistrate said, "The government strictly directed to keep social distance and ban all kinds of mass gathering to prevent Coronavirus infection. 

It's really unexpected that the wedding program was organized with mass gathering and in presence of two local UP chairman denying government direction. We fined a total of 80 thousand to 8 people of the bride and bridegroom's family, those, who were organizing the program as well as we warned those two UP Chairman too.
