At least eight people were killed in Covid-19 (Coronavirus) infection in Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj and Bogura districts on Friday (24 July), informed Dr. Gopendranath Acharya, Divisional Director of Health in Rajshahi on Saturday.
Among deads, four are in Bogura, three in Rajshahi and one in Chapainwabganj. With the deads, the total number of death in Covid-19 related infection in the division stands at 155. of these, 95 have been killed in Bogura, 22 in Rajshahi, three in Chapainawabganj, 13 in Naogaon, one in Natgore, two in Joyourhat, 10 in Sirajganj and nine in Pabna district.
On Friday 238 patients have been freshly attacked with Covid-19 infection in Rajshahi division. Of the infected, 91 belonged to Rajshahi, 68 belonged to Naogaon, 14 belonged to Chapainawabganj, 26 belonged to Bogura, there to Natgore, two to Joypurhat, 30 to Sirajganj and 19 to Pabna.
The total number of Covid-19 infected patients in the division is not 11,342. Of those 4,446 have been detected in Bogura, 2,603 in Rajshahi, 332 in Chapainawabganj, 919 in Naogaon, 391 in Natore, 661 in Joypurhat, 1,244 in Sirajganj and 746 in Paba district.
However, so far 5,637 Coronavirus patients have been recovered in the division.
