At least 15 criminal cases were filed in all seven police stations accusing 780 unnamed people due to atrocities carried out by the BNP-Jamaat activists during the three-day blockade programme.

According to the police, the cases were recorded on the basis of anarchy like setting fire to transports and other vehicles, explosion of bombs, gathering and attacking police, road blockade setting fire to tires and creating a threatened hurled bomb on law enforcers and civil citizens.

Additional police super (crime) Chai Lau Marma confirmed the information added that a good number of accused were arrested and the raiding action is on to capture the rest of accused.

However, the blockade programme caller BNP and its allies launched sporadic attack and created atrocities activities in different parts of the district.

The sufficient law enforcers are on day night duty but the anarchists all of a sudden are doing their attacking activities in any place where they found space for.

Now a burning issue in the district to move the people peacefully as the further blockade program is going to start.
