The 77th meeting of Board of Directors of Barind Multipurpose Development Authority was held virtually on Sunday morning.
Presided over by Begum Akhter Jahan MP, Chairman of BMDA, the welcome speech at the meeting was delivered by BMDA Executive Director and Member Secretary of the Board Abdur Rashid while Chairman of BMDA Begum Akhter Jahan delivered the inaugural speech. The meeting was attended, among others, by Deputy Secretary of Cabinet div and Member of BMDA Board Sajjadul Hasan, Deputy Secy of Water Resource Ministry Mominur Rahman, Deputy Secy of Fisheries and Animal resources Hamidur Rahman, Senior Secy of Agril Ministry Tasnim Jebin Binte Sheikh, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Rajshahi Kalyan Chowdhury, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Dinajpur Shariful Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police, Dinajpur Aslam Uddin, Senior Engineer of BMDA Shamsul Huda, Godagari upazila Chairman Jahangir Alam, upazila Chairman of Patnitola, Naogaon Abdul Gaffar, BMDA Secretary Iqbal Hossain and Executive Engineer of BMDA Tariqul Islam.
Detailed discussion was held on the procedure of operation and over all activities of BMDA in the meeting and a number of important decisions were made.
