Some unemployed youths were rushed at Savar to get job which can alleviate their poverty after seen some tempting advertisement from different areas. But later, their dreams are broken, while they realized that they are fall in fraudsters clutches, though in the meantime, they already paid their last of family fund to fraudsters hand.
However, RAB on Tuesday nabbed a ring with 7 fraudsters including two young women, who have been cheating with job seekers in the name of employment for long, by conducting a drive at Hemayetpur area in Savar, on the outskirts of the capital.
The detainees are identified as Selim Hossain, 29, Sohel Rana, 24, Azizul Islam, 22, Sohan, 18, Jahangir Hossain, 21, Farhana Akhter Simu, 18, and Taslima Akhter, 20.
Major AHM Adnan Tofadar, Company Commander of RAB-4 (CPC-2) confirmed the matter to The Bangladesh Post.
He said, RAB conducted the drive
at a fake security service company namely ‘Tariqul Fourstars Security Service Ltd’ at Hemayetpur area based on secret information and detained 7 of frauds, and seized 200 pieces of fake recruitment notice along with other instruments. Besides, they rescued 12 victims who were cheated by the ring as well.
“Basically, the ring members have been cheating through publishing tempting recruitment notices around several areas, and later the fraudsters were embezzling money from job seekers with various pretexts”, the RAB official said.
“A case has been filed with Savar model police station regarding the matter, besides we are investigating further into the matter,” Adnan Tofadar added.
