Corona has identified 302 people in the last 24 hours. The total number of victims in Chittagong stood at 46,682. 7 people died in Corona.
A report released by the Civil Surgeon's Office on Saturday morning revealed this information.
In the last 24 hours, 1,026 samples were tested in 5 labs in Chittagong.
217 samples were tested in Chittagong University Lab, 262 in Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID) Lab, 170 in Chittagong Medical College (CMC) Lab and 94 in Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) Lab.
It identified 76 patients in the CU lab, 50 in the BITID lab, 93 in the CMC lab and 30 in the CVASU lab as infected with the corona virus.
Besides, 258 samples were tested in the private Imperial Hospital lab and 41 people were tested, while 25 samples were tested in Chittagong Maternal and Child Hospital lab and 12 people were diagnosed with corona virus.
No samples from Chittagong were tested at Chevron Clinical Laboratory, Regional TB Referral Laboratory (RTRL) of General Hospital and Cox's Bazar Medical College Lab.Chittagong Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi said 302 new cases had been identified in the last 24 hours. 1,026 samples were tested. Among the new victims are 226 in the city and 76 in the upazila.
