Six police sergeants in Jhenidah were given new motorbikes on Sunday. They were given the new motorbikes to speed up their professional activities as a part of the reformation of the department and implement new transport law of 2018.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Jhenidah Tarek Al Mehedi and others were present during delivery of the motorbikes.
Tarek Al Mehedi said that the policemen in Jhenidah have started traffic activities following direction of police super Hasanuzzaman. The new motorbikes will help a lot for furnishing the duty of the traffic police to implement new traffic law and bring discipline on the roads.
The people of the district will avail better traffic services round the clock, he added. He called upon all to follow the traffic law.
