The National Social Service Day-2023 was celebrated all over the country, including Chattogram, with the slogan 'In the march of development and prosperity, we will build the country for social service'.
On the occasion of the day, Social Service Office honoured six individuals and organizations in Chattogram. The award was given at the Theatres Institute on Monday. Mamata, Agrabad Mother and Child Hospital, CODEC, AK Khan Foundation, Kazem Mohammad Ali, Hafeez Mohammad Amanullah were honoured for their contribution to society in various fields.
Deputy Minister of Education Muhibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel was present as the chief guest, while Deputy Commissioner Abdul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman, Chattogram Divisional Social Service Office Director Kazi Nazimulam Islam, Deputy Director Md. Faridul Alam were present as special guests.
