59 returnees in home quarantine

Fifty nine returnees of Bangladesh have been kept in home quarantine. From Friday evening to Saturday evening, the new 20 returnees were ordered to stay in home quarantine. Meanwhile, a mobile court fined three people in Ranisankail upazila for breaching home-quarantine rules.

On Saturday morning, UNO Ranisankail Mousumi Afrida fined three returnees. UNO said, these three people recently returned home from abroad. Despite the advice of the government to maintain home quarantine, they were wandering around the locality. On the other hand, 20 more returnees were kept in home quarantine in Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila during the last 24 hours till Saturday evening. Earlier, 39 people were kept in home quarantine. In the meantime, the number of returnees in Thakuragon is 1200, among them only 59 are kept in quarantine.
