553 in home quarantine, 27 cattle markets closed

The district administration in Jhenidah have closes all 27 cattle markets throughout the district as the prevention of the novel Coronavirus. The number of people taken to home quarantine rose to 553 including recent returnees from abroad. They were advised not to leave their houses for the interest of themselves, as well as others.

When this correspondent moved in the district town and some other parts including upazila towns, came to know that the television sets installed at the tea stalls were removed to void mass gathering there.

The upazila administration and upazila health administration have been announcing for not to be panicked and take pre-cautionary measures like keep cleanness at every steps and avoid mass gathering anyway.

Deputy Commissioner, also president of Anti Corona Committee Saroj Kumar Nath said for the interest of the nation they had shut the cattle markets. All tea stall owners were advised to remove the television sets from the stalls to avoid mass gatherings.

Deputy Commissioner said they had removed a number of television and amusement sets from various tea stall in the night of Saturday.
