55 students get stipend in Narail

The Majeda-Moazzam Education Trust provided stipend to meritorious students in Lohagara upazila of Narail district on Saturday.

Narail Deputy Commissioner Sharmin Akhter Jahan attended the event as chief guest, organized by the trust at Lohagara Government Pilot High School premises.

Mohammad Abu Riyad, Lohagora Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and president of the Trust, presided over the vent. Munshi Shahabuddin, Additional DIG of Bangladesh Police, former Additional Secretary Anam Azizul Haque, Acting Principal of Lohagara Government Adarsha College Kamrun Nahar Lina, Principal of Jashore Daud Public School and College Mahfuza Nasrin, Ratna Garbha Majeda Hossain and Executive Engineer of Roads and Highways Department Md Atiqullah were present as special guests.

The principal of Amada Adarsh College, Md Al Faisal Khan, Assistant Principal of Lohagara Government Pilot High School, Maulana Hafizur Rahman, along with principals of various colleges and high schools were also present at the event.

SM Hayatuzzaman Hayat, Executive Secretary of the Trust and Headmaster of Lohagara Government Pilot High School, delivered a welcome speech. Teacher Md Mohasin Ali moderated of the program.

This year, a total of 55 meritorious students were provided stipend of Tk 85,000 under the initiative of the Majeda-Moazzam Education Trust.
