State Minister for Housing and Public Works Sharif Ahmed inaugurated as the chief guest inaugurated newly constructed 50-bed Upazila Health Complex at a programme organized by the Upazila Administration and Health Department at Tarakanda, Mymensingh on Saturday.
Mymensingh Civil Surgeon Dr. Mohammad Nazrul Islam presided over the function while chairman of Tarakanda Upazila Parishad Advocate Md. Fazlul Haque, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mizabe Rahmat, Tarakanda Upazila Awami League President Babu Pradeep Kumar Chakraborty Ranu Thakur, General Secretary Md. Babul Mia Sarkar, Upazila Parishad vice chairman Md. Nazrul Islam Nayan, Phulpur Upazila Awami League joint convener is Professor Habibur Rahman was present at inaugural meeting.
The program was conducted by the convener of Tarakanda Upazila Juba League Md. Abdul Mannan. The journey of Upazila Health Complex started with the inauguration.
Supervising Engineer, Department of Health Engineering, Mymensingh Circle Dulal Chandra Sarkar said, 27 under the supervision of the Department of Health Engineering. The 50-bed Upazila Health Complex was constructed at a cost of Tk 26.90 crore in Tarakanda.
