In the last five months after the COVID-19 outbreak 5,047 corona virus infected patients have recovered in Narayanganj.
According to district health department reports among the total 5,719 corona infected patients, 123 died, 5,047 survived and the rest are undergoing treatment.
The sources also claimed that 23 newly infected corona patients were found in last 24 hours in Narayanganj and the rate is reducing gradually.
Among the infected people the majority were from Narayanganj City Corporation area while the lowest number of infection were found in Sonargaon upazila. Among the deceased highest 67 were from NCC area while lowest 3 were from Bandar upazila.
Health department revealed a report that no patient died in the district in last five days and expected hope that the infection rate will come down in coming days as awareness build up rapidly among the residents.
Civil surgeon Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed hoped that the ICU treatment randomly supported the corona patients and the sufferings of this ailment already been removed.
