In Bogura, 45 new people have been identified with corona virus infection. Among them there are 34 males, 10 females and 1 child.
Bogura Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr Mostafizur Rahman Tuhin confirmed this during an online briefing at 11am on Thursday.
He added that, 38 people were affected in Bogura Sadar, 2 people in Kahalu and 1 each in Shajahanpur, Sherpur, Gabtali, Adamdighi and Dupchanchia upazila.
Among the 188 samples tested at Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College, 20 came out positive whereas, among the 66 samples tested at TMSS, 25 came out positive.
According to the district health department, with this a total of 3,923 people have been infected with corona. So far a total of 2,015 people have recovered and the total number of death stands at 73 in Bogura.
