The 42nd National Science and Technology Week began at Kishoreganj Upazila of Nilphamari with the theme ‘Covid-19 and Health Protection’.
A total of 22 stalls participated in the fair on the premises of Kishoreganj Multipurpose Model High School.
Upazila Parishad Chairman Shah Mohammad Abul Kalam Bari Pilot inaugurated the week and fair on Monday. Later, a discussion was held with Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Most. Roksana Begum in the chair.
Shah Mohammad Abul Kalam Bari Pilot spoke as the chief guest, while Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md Mehedi Hasan, Convener of Upazila Jatiya Party and MP's representative Md Rezaul Alam Swapan, Headmaster of Kishoriganj Multipurpose Model High School Md. Golam Azam, Super Mozaffar Hossain of Ranchandi Basunia Para Dakhil Madrasa spoke. Besides, various government officials, heads of various educational institutions, leaders of social organizations were present.
The fair was organized by the Upazila Administration under the auspices of the Department of Science and Technology and under the supervision of the National Museum of Science and Technology.
