Three persons were electrocuted in Kishoreganj on Friday (28 May). They were identified as Harun or Rashid (45), his son Babul (18) and Sad (8) son of Borhan Uddin of village Jaliapra (Korshakorail) under Sadar Upazila of the district.
According to local sources, Saad inadvertently cycled and he came in touch with the live electricity wire. Harun-or-Rashid and his son Babul came forward to save him in that time and got electrocuted too. They were seriously injured.
Later, local people admitted them to Sheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical Hospital and the duty doctor declared them dead. Kishoreganj Model Station Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abu Bakkar Siddque confirmed this. On the other hand Sajib Mia (27) was electrocuted in Bhairb municipality area in Kishoreganj district.
Sajib Mia was the son of Md. Faruq Mia of village Kachpur Noapara under Sonargown upazila in Narayanganj district.
