Members of RAB-5, Mollapara camp of Rajshahi arrested four active members of outlawed militant organisation JMB from Paba area under Shah Makhdum police station on Friday.
Arrested JMB members were identified as Jewel Ali alias Jewel Mahmud alias Imam Mahmud, 26, son of Abdul Kader of Gaopara under Bagatipara upazila of Natore district, Alif Hossain, 20, son of Khorshed of Daramud village under Santhia upazila of Pabna district, Ashraful Islam, 23 son of Delowar Hossain of Khalispur under Khulna district and Jewel Sheikh, 22, son of Jahirul Sheikh of village Nalta under Tala upazila of Khulna district.
RAB also recovered 154 outlawed books, six leaflets, one Pistole, five round of bullets, one magazine, two motor bikes and one first aid box from their possession.
Of the arrested, Jewel Ali alias Jewel Mahmud alias Imam Mahmud is the Regional Commander of JMB.
