In the last 24 hours in Khulna, four people have died due to coronavirus (Covid-19) and its symptoms. One of them died of corona and three died with symptoms.
So far, 85 people have died in Khulna due to coronavirus .
They died on Tuesday (August 11th) at Khulna Medical College Hospital’s Corona Suspected Isolation Ward and Khulna Corona Dedicated Hospital.
The deceased have been identified as Mujahid Sheikh (18), Saleha Begum (38), Shabana (35) and Abdul Hashem (40).
Khulna Corona Hospital Focal Person Dr. Sheikh Farid Uddin Ahmed said that the college student named Mujahid Sheikh died of corona symptoms at 9.45 pm on Tuesday. Mujahid is the son of Amirul Islam of Putimari area under Labanchara police station.
The housewife named Saleha Begum died of corona symptoms at 11 am on Tuesday. She is the wife of Abdul Quddus, a resident of Nagarkanda police station in the district.
Earlier on Monday (August 10), Shabana, daughter of Abdur Rauf, a resident of Rahimpur in Paikgachha upazila, died at 12pm with corona symptoms.
Besides them, a man named Abdul Hashem (40) died at Nurnagar Diabetic Hospital due to corona infection. Abdul Hashem, son of Abdul Kashem, a resident of Sher-e-Bangla Road, 184, has been undergoing treatment at Corona Hospital since August 9.
