4 held with hemp

Police detained four people along with hemp in Nasirnagar upazila of Brahmanbaria on Friday morning.
The detainees were identified as Prithwish Chandra Chakrawarty, 57, son of Gopal Chakrawarty, hailed from Haripur village under Haripur union of Nasirnagar upazila, Abed Ali 29, son of Sayed Ali, hailed from Bishnupur village under the upazila Deen Islam 19, son of Abul Mia hailed from Nijnagar village of the upazila, Chand Mia 30, son of Nur Mia, hailed from Ahammadpur village of the Nasirnagar upazila in the district.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of police, led by Officer-In-Charge of Nasirnagar Police Station Md Kabir Hossain, conducted a drive in Kunda Bridge area around 10:00am and detained them with 64 kilograms Indian hemp. At that time, a hemp loaded boat was seized by Police.
