On the occasion of Eid, 10 kg of VGF rice has been distributed as PM's gift among 4,620 destitute in different wards of Bogura Municipality. 28 councilors of the municipality each distributed the rice among 165 poor people in their area.
On Sunday, the rice was distributed among destitute in Ward no 15. Aminul Islam, Panel Mayor of the municipality and ward Councilor of Ward no 15 inaugurated the distribution at the ward councilor's office in Charmatha of the town.
Daily Uttarer Darpan Editor Abdus Salam Babu, Municipality Tag Officer Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Abdus Samad, Social Workers Matiur Rahman Moti and others were present at the time.
Municipality Panel Mayor Aminul Islam said the government led by Sheikh Hasina is working relentlessly to tackle Corona pandemic. The government is delivering food to the homes of poor, jobless and helpless people. He urged everyone to follow the hygiene rules at the time.
