Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babor distributed new clothes as Eid gifts to 4,000 helpless people in CRB, Goalpara Tulatuli and BRTC's Jamtala slum areas of Chattogram city.
The gifts were distributed at the city's CRB on Wednesday afternoon.
Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babor said, ‘The joy of Eid is not only for a certain class of society, this Eid belongs to every family of Bengal.
So it is the responsibility of the able-bodied people of the society to reach this happiness in every house. This time Bangabandhu daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given a permanent address to the 33,000 landless and homeless people of the country with new houses as a gift for Eid and put a smile on their faces.
He said, "The freedom of the people of this country has come in the hands of Awami League. People's destiny has also been developed by the hands of Awami League. So we should stand by the neighbors and the common people in the neighborhood according to our ability to share the joy of Eid.'
