36 more Covid-19 test reports found positive among 222 samples tested in Laksmipur during the last 24-hour ending Thursday morning. With these positive number of infections, the total Covid-19 infected patients in the district stand at 358.
However, 72 Covid-19 patients have so far been recovered and released from isolation.
Health Department sources informed, among total infected 174 belonged to Lakshimour sadar, 62 to Ramganj, 50 to Raipur, 47 to Kamalnagar and 25 to Ramgati upazila. A total of five Covid-19 infected patients have so far died in the district.
It is alleged due to non-maintenance of heath and physical distance rules, the number of Covid-19 infected patients in the district is increasing gradually.
