330 cow rearers get training in Chatmohar

Under the National Agricultural Technology Program Phase-II project, a day-long training on cow rearing-2021 has been held for CIG registered cow farmers in Chatmohar under the Department of Animal Resources

The second phase of the training ended on Thursday. Chatmohar Upazila Animal Resources Office implemented the programme.

Chatmohar Upazila Animal Resources Officer Noor Alam Siddiqui said the training was given to 11 batches of CIG farmers in 11 unions of the upazila. Each batch of 30 male and female farmers took part. 

The training of 6 batches a few days ago and the other four batches in these four days from last Monday to Thursday was completed.

A total of 330 farmers received the training. 

Noor Alam Siddiqui added that the trainees have been given ideas on various issues including improved farm management and cow rearing. As a result, cow farmers will be benefited.
