Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained 31 drug addicts from different areas of Pachbibi upazila in the wee hours on Monday. The detainees are residents of the upazila. ASP of Joypurhat RAB-5 camp MM Mohaiminur Rashid said on secret information, they raided Atpara, Chechra and other locations in the upazila and detained the addicts along with drugs and drug taking tools. The drug addicts were handed over to Pachbibi police station after lodging case under Narcotics Control Act against them.
