Sons of freedom fighters formed humane chain and held a gathering on the compound of Darshana Carew and Company Sugar Mills on December 21 demanding for joining in their posts and following the freedom fighter 30 per cent quota in recruitment.
According to sources, freedom fighters’ sons got service in the mills in freedom fighter quota. They came to join their service on December 18, but did not join the posts. As a result, they arranged humane chain and gathering.
Easir Arafat Milon, central leader of Muktizoddhader Santan Command, presided over the gathering. It was addressed by freedom fighters Abu Hosen, Rustom Ali, Nasir Uddin, Billal Hossain, Tanjir Ahmed, Abu Sobur, Abdul Khaleque, Sirajul Islam, and freedom fighters’ sons Ikbal Hossain, Nazimuddin and Robiul Islam.
