Chattogram DC said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the worthy daughter of the Father of the Nation, has directed to deliver relief to the working people who have become unemployed or in distress during the Corona period.

We want to bring relief to the neglected third sex transgender group of the society who beg from the people, whom we see in the eyes of neglect.  Those who are living in dire straits, including hairdressers, cobblers, fishermen, the disabled, the Vedic community and transport workers, will be brought under relief in phases.

"We want no one to starve in this situation," he said.  As long as the lockdown continues, relief distribution activities among the helpless and indigent people of the society will continue.

Gift items are being delivered to the homes of the lower and middle class who are reluctant to seek help in public or call and text us for help.  We have a stockpile of 20,000 packets of relief supplies.  So far 2,300 packets of relief items have been distributed in the city.  So far, relief materials have been provided to more than 500 helpless people outside the city at the upazila level.  Besides, cash assistance has been provided to some indigent families.  If the situation is normal, we will all go back to work.
