Thousands of people from each and every political platforms, civil society members, commoners, day labourers and women and children on behalf of 30 thousand beneficiaries in Jhenaidah district had given thanks to the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her dynamism in running the country providing various facilities for all category people.
The programme was organized by Jhenaidah Sadar Upazila Administration at Wazir Ali Highschool ground in the town on Sunday afternoon with UNO Razia Akter Chowdhury in the chair. Law maker of Jhenaidah 2 seat Tahjib Alam Siddiquee Somi attended the thanks giving event as chief guest.
Awami League (AL) Jhenaidah Sadar Upazila unit General Secretary Shahidul Islam Hiron, Harinakundu Upazila Parishad Chairman Jahangir Hussain, Jhenaidah Sadar Upazila Parishad Acting Chairman Rashedur Rahman Rasel, Woman Vice Chairman Arati Dutt, Juba League District Unit Joint Convener Raju Ahmed, member Ibrahim Khalil Raja, PA to lawmaker Rokanuzzaman Ripon and Maharajpur Union Parishad Chairman Khurshid Alam among others spoke there.
Hundreds of leaders and activists of ruling AL, Krishak league, Sramik League, Juba League and Chhatra League and thousands of other people remain present in the thanks giving event.
The speakers said the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has done a lot for the development of children, widow, divorcee, elderly men and women, third gender people, people with disability and other section people to bring them under the social safety-net so that they could survive like others in the society.
They urged upon the people to cast their votes for the boat of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman for the continuous development of the country and make it Smart Bangladesh as desired by the PM.
