Three Tabligh Jamaat men who have recently came to Singair of Manikganj district have tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday morning. The three Tabligh men, hailing from Faridpur district, will be admitted to the isolation unit at Singair Upazila Health Complex, said District Civil Surgeon Dr Anwarul Amin Akhanda.
Earlier on April 4, a man of 60, who have recently come to the area from Faridpur with a 12-member team of Tabligh Jamaat on March 24, tested positive for coronavirus.
Local administration put Singair municipal area under lockdown the next day. The other team members and six locals who joined them also quarantined.
