3 shops fined in Nabinagar for selling rice at high prices

A mobile court in Nabinagar on Monday fined three shops on charge of selling rice at high prices by capitalizing on the outbreak of coronavirus. 

Iqbal Hasan, executive magistrate of the mobile court conducted the drive in the rice market of Nabinagar municipality on Monday morning. During this time, he fined Tk35, 000 to three shops for selling rice at high price and not to display price list. At the same time, he warned the businessmen about shut the shop in next time.

Officer-in-Charge (investigation) of Nobinagar Police Station Ruhul Amin, President of Nabinagar Market Business Committee Md Monir Hossain, and General Secretary Ashraful Alam Jony along with journalists was present at this time.
