Three motorcyclists were killed after a speedy truck hit their bike on Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar Highway in Lohagara Upazila in Chattogram on Monday afternoon.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Officer-in-charge of Dohazari Highway Police StationKhan Mohammad Erfan said the accident occurred at around 3pm in front of the Nayapara Mosqueof the upazila. Three motorcyclists died on the spot.
Police recovered bodies and sent those to the upazila health complex, he said, adding that they also seized the truck.
