Three more people including a policeman has been identified with corona virus infection in Bandarban on Tuesday. This information was obtained after testing their samples in a laboratory test in Chattogram. Bandarban Civil Surgeon Dr Angshui Pru Marma confirmed the news.
He said the new three patients include two men from Thanchi and a woman in Lama upazila of the district. So far, four people have been identified with the virus infection in Bandarban, he added.
Health department sources and locals said among the two newly identified men one was the guard police at Sonali Bank in Thanchi upazila of the district and another is from the Marma community in Baramdak area.
Meanwhile, the woman identified with corona virus is from Merakhola Muslim Para of Sadar Union in Lama Upazila. Earlier, a male corona patient was identified in the Ghumadhum union of Naikhyangchhari upazila, who was a Tablig returnee. Currently, there are 389 person in Home Quarantine in Bandarban, 23 in Institutio nal Quarantine and three in Isolation.
