Police arrested three members of a fraud group 'Jiner Badsha' during raids launched in various areas under Bakalia Thana of the port city on Saturday. The three arrestees were identified as - Md. Saiful Islam 31, Md. Mukhtar Rahman 27, Shipon Chandra Mohanta 29. They were from Gobindaganj upazila of Gaibandha. “The trio was arrested for duping a woman into paying them Taka 4, 71000,” M. Nezam Uddin, Officer-in-Charge of Bakalia Thana, told to media. However, there are more members in this syndicate. They use various tactics to collect phone numbers and phone them at night.
