At least three people were killed and ten others injured in a collision between two passenger buses in Faridpur on Thursday morning.
The accident occurred near Abul Hossain Petrol Pump in Karimpur area under Kanaipur union under Faridpur Sadar Upazila.
The identities of the deceased and injured have not yet been confirmed.
According to police, the collision took place on the Faridpur-Magura highway between a Royal Paribahan bus and a locally operated passenger bus. The crash resulted in the immediate deaths of three people, while at least ten others sustained injuries.
The injured have been taken to Faridpur Medical College Hospital for treatment.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
Karimpur Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Salauddin Chowdhury confirmed it.
