The Yes Group, a wing of the Socheton Nagorik Committee and Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB), arranged a three-day programme on Right to Information (RTI) at Jhenidah College marking RTI week. The progrmame ended on Thursday afternoon.
Badsha Alam, principal of Jhenidah College, chairperson of the committee Sayedul Alam, distributed prizes among three winners who participated in answering questions by opening books events.
Badsha Alam said that the students of today will build up themselves as the global citizens acquiring knowledge and compete with the challenges as the globe is now within the hands of the people with the grace of information and communication technology (ICT). This sort of programmes will open the door of information before the eyes of the people. The government of Prime Minster Sheikh Hasina has been doing everything to enrich the ICT towards a better Bangladesh live able for all with international standard.
Yes Group member Tamanna Rahman delivered the welcome speech on the concluding session conducted by group leader Khalid Hasan. Vice principal of Jhenidah College Mahbubur Rahman, Yes and YEs Friends members and TIB JHenidah manager Bakhtiar Hossain among others spoke.
