Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-6 arrested three persons with 964 fake revenue stamps (court fees) in a raid in front of Benapole Customs House under Jashore district on Wednesday noon.
The detainees were identified as Shamim Hossain, owner of Alamin Trading, Uzzal Hossain, owner of Kohinoor Telecom and Sumon of Sadiq Computer in Benapole Bazar area.
Jashore RAB-6 company commander M Sarwar Hossain said that three persons had been secretly selling fake revenue stamps in front of Benapole Customs House for a long time.
The operation was carried out on Wednesday noon after receiving the secret information. During the operation, three persons were arrested along with 964 fake revenue stamps worth Tk 19,280 from three shops.
