Parveen Haque Sakider MP from women's reserved seat distributed cash, food items and Eid cloths among three thousand families who lost their jobs due to the corona pandemic.
Tanvir Al Nasfi, a non-resident activist of Bhedarganj, inaugurated the distribution programme in front of Bhedarganj Upazila Parishad on Friday morning.
On behalf of Parveen Haque Sakider MP, Regional Manager of National Bank in Shariatpur Sakendar Ali Fakir, Rambhadrapur Union Parishad Chairman Biplob Sikder, National Bank Bhaderganj Branch Manager Md. Akram Hossain, President of Shariatpur District Branch of Sheikh Russell National Shishu-Kishore Parishad Sajal Sikder and others were present at the time.
Later, Eid gift materials were distributed among the underprivileged people of Bhedarganj, Damudya and Gosairhat upazila.
Each bag of Eid gift contained rice, flour, sugar, vermicelli, edible oil, soap, salt, potato, onion, lungi, Shari, Jainamaz and cash Tk 1,000.
