Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have arrested 28 people on charges of selling and consuming drugs in the capital city.
As a part of DMP’s regular anti-drug drives, they were arrested along with drugs in a raid from 6 am on Thursday (December 28) to 6 am on Friday (December 29).
At that time, 847 yaba, 31 grams of heroin and 17 kg of of hemp were recovered from their possessions.
A total of 25 cases under the Narcotics Control Act have been registered against the 28 arrested persons.
