A total of 24,000 doses of corona vaccine have arrived in Magura to prevent corona virus infection.
The coronavirus vaccine arrived at the Magura Civil Surgeon's Office in a freezer van belonging to Beximco Pharmaceuticals on Friday afternoon.
Dr. Rezwan Ahmed, Civil Surgeon in charge of the district accepted it. Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Tareq Al Mehedi, NDC Md Al Imran and Deputy Manager of Beximco Pharma Distribution Department Kamrul Hasan, District Coordinator Moniruzzaman Akhand and District EPI Superintendent Firoz Uddin were present on the occasion.
Acting Civil Surgeon Dr. Rezwan Ahmed said that 24,000 doses of corona vaccine have reached Magura to prevent corona virus infection. Upon arrival, they are kept in the district EPI archives at the prescribed temperature.
Vaccination nurses and related health workers will be trained to start the vaccination program. Then corona vaccine will be given to the registered persons as per the government instructions.
