A total of two hundred and thirty three eye patients were given free medical treatment on Tuesday at Nizanandawali area of Magura Sadar upazila. Magura Rotary Club organised the free eye camp in collaboration with Rotary Club of Dhaka North Eye Hospital, Kushtia.
Magura Rotary Club President Litan Ghosh, General Secretary Rubayet Firoz, Babul Kuri, Uttam Saha, Shah Alam, Khan Mazharul Haque Lipu, Bidhan Saha, Nasirul Islam, Kazi Rito, Fakrul Islam were presnt while Doctor Mahfuzul Haque, Doctor Parvez Ali, Doctor Minoti Rani Dutta, Doctor Shewli Akhter led the eye camp.
The organisers said that patients undergoing eye camps, especially cataracts, would be selected and subsequently will get free surgery in their eyes.
