Chuadanga Zila Shikshabid Forum accorded reception to 23 freedom fighters of different educational institutes of Chuadanga. On Saturday, following one minute silent session in honor of martyred in liberation war and 15 August, the district administration handed over crests among the freedom fighters.
The accorded reception freedom fighters are Fakir Mohammad, Hafizur Rahman, Golam Sarwar Siddique, Lal Mohammad, Mozammel Hoque, Golam Mohammad, Abul Kashem, Wahed Ali, Atiar Rahman, Fazlul Hoque, Sanwar Hossain, Abdul Latif, Mousufa Begum, M Waliullah Siddique, Abul Kashem, Ershad Ali, Sirazul Islam, Amzad Hossain, Sawkat Ali, Saidur Rahman, Anisuddin, Ishaq Ali and Rezaul Mostofa Md. Ashrafudoula. They were given crests by the chief guest Mahfuzur Rahman Monju, Chairman of Chuadanga Zela Parishad.
A discussion was held on the occasion. The discussion was presided over by Hamidul Hoque Munsi, President of the forum. Mahfuzur Rahman Monju, Zela Parishad Chairman was present as chief guest. Md. Ataur Rahman, District Education Officer, Tobibur Rahman, District Primary Education Officer, Azizur Rahman, Freedom fighter and Social Worker addressed as special guests. Abul Kashem, Ershad Ali, AKM Ali Akhtar and Selina Khatun spoke at the discussion.
Shahjahan Ali Biswas, General Secretary of the forum, conducted the programme.
