23,000 Rohingyas, locals get Saudi food in Cox’s Bazar

In Cox's Bazar, the Saudi government started distributing food items to Rohingya refugees and families of about 23,000 poor Bangladeshis from Monday. The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center organized an inaugural event on the occasion.

It was organized in the conference room of a hotel in the city under "Food Basket Distribution Project-2022 in Bangladesh".

Allama Fazlullah Foundation Chairman. Cox's Bazar Municipality Mayor Mujibur Rahman was the chief guest at the function presided over by Abul Ala Muhammad Hosamuddin.

Project Director Shaykh Imad Ibn Abdus Salam Ibn Sulaim Ale Saleh Al-Majhi and Shaykh Umar Ibn Muhammad Ibn Umar Al-Ankari were present as the inaugural speaker on behalf of the Saudi government. Allama Fazlullah Foundation Director (Development) Moazzem Hossain Shaon, Salamatullah Hamid Hussain, Borhan Uddin, Director of the Foundation's Foreign Department. Md. Wayez, Md. Ishaq, Tariq Chowdhury, Hillal, Abdus Sabur, Fayez Uddin, Nezam Uddin and Md. Selim were present.

Meanwhile, Allama Fazlullah Foundation's founding chairman Chittagong-15 constituency MP Prof. Dr. thanked all concerned for the food aid distribution activities. Abu Reza Muhammad Nezamuddin Nadvi.

Note that Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Ale Saud, Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz Ale Saud and the caretaker of the relief center. Under the auspices of Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al-Rabiah, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center continues to provide assistance to Rohingya refugees and Bangladeshi poor as part of its ongoing humanitarian work.
