With 10 more deaths in Rajshahi the total death toll at the Corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital stands at 21 during the last 24-hour period ending 6 am Tuesday.
Director of RMCH Brig gen Shamim Yazdani informed, among the dead 10 are from Rajshahi, four each from Pabna and Naogaon, two from C'nawabganj and one from Natore. Of them 12 are males and nine are females. RMCH Director further informed, a total of 43 new patients have been admitted to the unit and 44 more left the unit after treatment during the last 24-hour period as well. A total of 380 Corona patients are under treatment during last 24-hr period ending 6 am Tuesday as against 513 beds at the unit.
Meanwhile, after testing samples of 381 people, result of 88 was found positive on Monday. The rate of identification of Corona is 23.10 percent, a 4.15 percent less than that of previous day. On Sunday, the rate of detection of Corona was 27.25 percent.
