Forest department and the 20th batch of Chittagong University (CU) organized a cleaning up and environmental awareness drive at Mirsrai, Chittagong. On Friday (February 09) around 11 o'clock, they conducted the cleaning operation in Mahamaya Eco Park, the second artificial lake in the country.
Chittagong North Forest Division Divisional Forest Officer SM Kaiser, Management and Planning Officer Kajal Talukder, Comilla Forest Division Forest Officer GM Kabir, Chittagong University English Department Head Sukant Roy, ATN Bangla Chittagong Deputy Incharge Manjur Quader Manju and Mirsarai Range Officer were present in the expedition. The 20th batch of Chittagong University (CU) along with Shahen Shah Naushad and forest department officers were present. Meanwhile, they cleaned the park and conducted awareness activities to protect the environment of the park by throwing garbage at the right place.
