Customs officials recovered 20 gold bars weighing around 3.3kg from inside an aircraft at Osmani International Airport in Sylhet on Tuesday morning.
Officials concerned said on information, a team of customs intelligence raided the flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines BG-206 from Dubai landed at the airport at about 9:00 am and found the gold bars under a seat.
The recovered the gold bars is worth Tk 1.15 crore, said an official of custom intelligence. However, none was reportedly arrested in this connection.
