In Bogra, two people died of corona and four died while showing symptoms. The deaths occurred at Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital and TMSS Medical College (TMC) and Rafatullah Community Hospital between Wednesday night to Thursday noon.
Abdur Rahim Rubel, assistant executive officer of TMC and Rafatullah Community Hospital, said Anjuman Ara, 60, a housewife from Nataipara in Bogra, was identified as Coronavirus positive by a sample at the Civil Surgeon’s Office on August 5.
She was admitted to the hospital at 2.40 am on August 10. She died at noon on Thursday while undergoing treatment.
Bogra Shajimec Hospital sources said Rafiqul Islam, 64, of Chupinagar village in Shajahanpur upazila was admitted to the hospital on July 23 with corona symptoms. He later tested positive for corona. He died at 9:50 pm on Wednesday while undergoing treatment.
Abdul Wahab, 75, of Nundah village in Nandigram upazila of Bogra contracted corona. He was admitted to Shajimec Hospital on August 11 at around 5:30 pm. He died Thursday morning while undergoing treatment.
Golam Morshed, 62, of Katuria village in Sherpur, Bogra, was admitted to the hospital on August 11 at around 11am. He died at around 12 o’clock at night.
Abu Taleb, 40, of Paharpur village in Badalgachhi upazila of Naogaon came to the hospital on August 11 at 2:20 pm with corona symptoms. He died at around 2 pm on Thursday.
Besides, Morsheda Begum (52) of Raghomajhi village in Shajahanpur upazila of Bogra developed corona symptoms. She was admitted to the hospital on 10 August. She died there at 6.20 pm on Wednesday.
